Thanks again for Virginie for donating scans! Mélanie has a spread in magazine Paris Match, photographed by friend and director of her old film “Le Dernier jour.” The pictures are really cute! The interview touches on many of the same subjects she’s spoken of recently, but she also talks a bit about her family and reveals that she plans on taking 7 months to go on tour for her album in 2011.

It’s a lucky month for fans of Mélanie! She has another cover, this time the January 2011 edition of Grazia. Thanks so much to Virginie for the scans, which I have added to the gallery! The interview is a good read — she discusses a lot of personal topics, such as her relationship with work, her problems with insomnia, her reaction to some of the less-than-kind rumors floating around about her time shooting “Inglourious Basterds,” and, finally, her love life. She plans on taking time off from work in 2012 to have a baby with her partner, a technician, while in the meantime she also plans to quit smoking. Take a look!

First of all, thank you to a couple of you for the heads-up that Mélanie is on the list of expected guests at TIFF — very good news! She also has her first bit of English press in a while in the September issue of InStyle magazine. The article is very short, but the photos are both brand new and lovely. No big surprise here, but Mélanie has yet another magazine feature/interview promoting Promenade de Santé and La Rafle. It’s in Femme Actuelle and, as always, we would love scans! In the meantime, you can read a bit about the article below.

Mélanie Laurent, 26 ans, sera le mois prochain à l’affiche de La Rafle, de Roselyne Bosch (dont l’avant-première a eu lieu le jour de la Saint-Valentin), et est tous les soirs sur les planches du Théâtre La Pépinière, à Paris, dans Promenade de santé.

A cette occasion, tous les magazines se l’arrachent, et Femme Actuelle a pu l’interroger quant à son quotidien de jeune actrice star, et ses différents projets en cours.

Another interview for Mélanie’s upcoming play! This one is more detailed and focuses on Mélanie exclusively. Besides what drew her to the theatre and the play itself, she also talks a little about Tarantino, how they’ve stayed in contact, and their infamous red carpet dance. The first performance of “Promenade de Santé” is tomorrow night, February 9th! If any readers go to see the play during its run, we’d love to hear your thoughts.

Nicolas Bedos a écrit une pièce pour elle. Il voulait lui offrir son premier rôle sur les planches. La belle blonde a accepté pour se lancer un nouveau défi.

En pleine écriture d’un scénario et en préparation d’un album, Mélanie Laurent sera aussi à l’affiche de deux films cette année. En attendant, elle est à partir de demain sur les planches dans Une promenade de santé, de Nicolas Bedos, au théâtre de La Pépinière à Paris. Stressée à quelques heures de la première, elle reçoit France-Soir à l’hôtel Costes pour confier sa peur, ses joies et ses espérances.
