It might not be one of the big ones, but nevertheless, congratulations to Mélanie for nabbing “Best Actress” by the Austin Film Critics Association! “Inglourious Basterds” in general received 3 honors total. The French Lumière nominations were also announced and Mélanie was not among them for “Le Concert”, but both Oscar and César nominations are still upcoming.

“Inglourious Basterds” grabbed a few nominations for the Golden Globes at the press conference this morning! Mélanie did not receive one personally, but it seems a safe bet to say she’ll likely be at the ceremony. You can see the full list here but I’ve compiled the Basterds-specific noms below.

Mélanie has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in “Inglourious Basterds” by the Detroit Film Critics Society, alongside good friend Marion for “Nine.” The winners will be announced on December 18. “Inglourious Basterds” is also nominated for Best Film and Best Ensemble, Tarantino for Best Director, and Christoph Waltz for Best Supporting Actor and Best Breakthrough Performance.
