First Le Tueur Production Still

Author: · Catagories: Films, Gallery

Finally, we have our first look at Mélanie’s character in the upcoming thriller Le Tueuer. Though she appears very blurry in the image, it looks as though she’s sporting bangs and red head. I’m working on translating the synposis for this film, and hopefully we’ll be getting more information and pictures from this film soon!

Ceci est mon Corps

Author: · Catagories: Films, Gallery

Since news and updates are a bit slow right now, I’m taking this time to gather vintage Mélanie goodies. For today, captures from Ceci Est Mon Corps, a very early Mélanie film have been added to the gallery. Unfortunately, the quality of the trailer isn’t the greatest, so the captures are just as scartchy. The video will be up ASAP and hopefully I can get my hands on a copy of this film to cap and clip later on. In the mean time, enjoy the captures! Be warned, as they contain nudity.

De Battre Mon Coeur s’est Arrêté

Author: · Catagories: Films, Gallery

As some visitors may have noticed, captures from Mélanie’s appearance in De Battre Mon Coeur s’est Arrêté (2005) have been added to the gallery. Unfoturnately, her role was quite small but still really enjoyable and funny. I really loved getting to see her as the bitchy, slightly stuck up girlfriend to Minksov. I’ll do my best to get clips up of her scene, so keep an eye out for a later update with clips. In the mean time, check out captures from De Battre Mon Coeur s’est Arrêté.

Embrassez Qui Vous Voudrez Captures

Author: · Catagories: Films, Gallery

I finally managed to get screencaptures of Mélanie’s small role in Embrassez Qui Vous Voudrez, where she plays Carole, Loïc’s (Gaspard Ulliel) first girlfriend. Though her role is definitely very small, she still does a great job portraying the curious Carole. In total, there are 270 captures. I’m still working on clips, so keep an eye out for those.

Melanie is Cinderella?

Author: · Catagories: Films, News & Rumors

Allocine reports that this year’s French Shooting Star Mélanie Laurent has been cast as Cinderella in the new film from director Marc Esposito simply titled Cendrillon (Cinderella). She will be joined by Sophie Marceau (Anthony Zimmer) as the fairy godmother, Catherine Jacob (Dikkenek) and Jean Reno (La tigre e la neve / The Tiger and the Snow) as the king in this retelling of the fairytale from Charles Perrault. In 2001 French director Olivier Dahan (La môme / La Vie en Rose) already brought one of Perrault’s stories to the screen in Le petit poucet (Tom Thumb), with Catherine Deneuve in the role of the queen.
