There’s an article in French magazine Les Inrocks about/by Mélanie as part of their “best of 2009″ series.  She talks about her career highlights of 2009, most of which we already know about, but it’s interesting to hear about them in her own words. Notably she sounds cynical about the release of her debut musical album — however, I’m not sure if that means release is officially cancelled. Check it out! Je suis encore dans ce film, ce n’est pas fini. Ce soir, par exemple, c’est la sortie du DVD. Inglourious Basterds, c’est comme un événement mensuel. Il y a deux mois, je l’accompagnais pour la tournée mondiale. La semaine dernière, j’ai passé mon dimanche avec Quentin. J’en suis très heureuse, je pourrais vivre avec ce film pendant des années.
