As an end of year celebration, I decided to finally get the “Through the Years” section up. Take a walk down memory lane, in a select picture re-telling of Mélanie’s unique look and how it’s changed from year to year. For now, I only have 2007 and 2006 done, but I will be updating all the way back to 2003 and maybe farther. So, what are you waiting for, visit Through the Years now.

Upon searching, I stumbled on lots and lots of Mélanie Laurent pictures, all of which were never seen by me before. I’m in the midst of collecting everything (they’re all HQ and take very long to grab) but for now, I have added plently of 2007 picture goodies for everyone to enjoy. We now have even more photos from some of Mélanie’s most recent events such as “L’Amour Cache” Premiere at the 2nd Rome Film Festival – Photocall and 2nd Rome Film Festival “L’Amour Cache” Premiere. On top of that, we have a completely brand-spakin’-new photoshoot. It’s very candid, and casual, but gorgeous as ever. It, again, is a promotion for Mélanie’s most recent film “La Chambre des Morts”, which of course, is now in theatres!! I’ve finally adding screencaptures of Paris to the gallery. In total, I’ve added 90 captures for everyone’ viewing pleasure. Within the next couple of days, I’ll be adding the video to our archive, so make sure you keep checking back for that!! And just a quick reminder, “Paris” is set to hit theatres on February 20th, 2008 (in France), so make sure to mark your calenders!

Since Mélanie news is a bit slow right now, and probably will be until January, I’m taking this time to gather some older media goodies. Thanks to my dear friend Maria, we now have the english subtitled trailer for Indigènes (also known as Days of Glory) and the Le Dernier Jour un-subtitled trailer in our video archive. Within the next couple of days, I will be adding even more trailers and video clips for everyone’s viewing pleasure, so make sure you keep an eye out for those. In the mean time, make sure you check out these trailers. I personally really enjoyed Le Dernier Jour, and cannot wait to see Indigènes. Both movies were very well received with audiences, and if you haven’t had a chance to see them yet, I suggest you do!

How wonderful! The official trailer for “Paris” has finally been released, as well as the set date for the film to premiere in theatres. “Paris” is set to hit French cinema’s February 20th, 2008 so make sure to mark your calendars for this one! In the meantime, make sure you check out the official trailer! Mélanie’s character is shown quite a bit, and she’s a fun loving college student. I can’t wait to see this film! 

Vous Avez un Message, Mélanie et Alfred! Recently LFI.fr arranged for both Mélanie and Alfred to answer some pretty interesting questions from some pretty interesting people. Thanks to the dear jenfan for sending me in the direction of this video! I’ve added the full clip to our video archive and capped the entire thing. Mélanie is extremely cute in this one, so make sure you check it out. English transcription would be much appreciated!

I recently found this video on youtube of Mélanie being quizzed about the three famous, French Mélanie’s – Thierry, Doutey and Laurent. In “La Quiz Minute ‘Mélanie’s – Ou Les 3?’” Mélanie was given 10 questions, and in one minute, she was asked to guess which of the three Mélanie’s the question referred to. I’ve made exactly 200 captures of the video (a bit excessive – I know, hehe) and put the video up in the archive. Make sure you check out the video and the captures, as this video is too cute for words!

More fantastic news! I did some searching yesterday, and the first ever still from the romantic comedy, Shoe at Your Foot (French title: C’est toujours mieux quand on sourit sur la photo) has been released. Amazingly, it’s of Mélanie’s character Chloé. I can only assume this is her first encounter with the suitcase that leads her to search for the owner. Hopefully we’ll be seeing much more soon! In the meantime, check out the first ever production still.
